Home Page	The Portland Snooker Club has 15 full size Snooker tables, one of which has raised arena style seating for important matches and are maintained daily. The snooker area is separate from the rest of the Club, with easy access to the bar and toilet facilities. There are also 6 English Pool Tables and the only 2 full size American Pool Tables in Carlisle. The Club has 5 Teams in the 'Carlisle Club & Orme' Snooker League, and the 'Carlisle Club & Orme' Billiards League. Some past vip visitors to the Club include Ian McCullough, Jimmy White, Dennis Taylor, Willie Thorne, Kelly Fisher (our ex resident professional) and Eric Bristow to name just a few. A light metre is used to calculate usage (Hourly rates are subject to change) on most tables, which are, per hour; Snooker £ 3.00 Billiards £ 3.00 Snooker Event 1! Monthly snooker competition 1st Sunday of every month Register by 11am Handicaps available All welcome
