About the Portland Snooker Club

The Portland Snooker Club, Carlisle, Cumbria was opened on the 17th October 1997 by Ron Wilson and Mary Cavanagh.
Since the opening, the Club has gone from strength to strength, becoming the venue for County Snooker, Darts, and Pool.

The Portland Snooker club is open from 11 am to 11 pm, seven days a week, but is open for under 18's to play snooker from 9 am to 12 pm
on weekends and school holidays. A daily pass for Under 18's costs only £1.00.

Yearly memberships are available at the following prices:-

New Member	£ 15.00
Existing Member	£ 10.00
Team Member	£ 5.00
Student Member	£ 5.00
Corporate membership each(6 or more in group)	£ 7.50

Members of the Portland Snooker Club, experience the luxury of comfortable, well designed playing areas, whatever the game. Should they choose to relax in the well stocked bar area, a vast range of reasonably priced beverages are for sale, including Thwaites, Carling, Harp and Warsteiner.

*As we are a members club, functions cannot be private, but can be in a separate area

A range of snacks are available, including freshly made sandwiches, crisps, nuts, and chocolate.
Members can also relax and watch 'Satellite TV' on a digital big screen television.
